Pakistan: Hunting Ground for Arab Princes
Pakistani Government has issued houbara bustard hunting permits to 31 members of the ruling families of four Arabian Gulf states for the 2007-08 hunting season. According to Dawn, nine such permits have been issued to the ruling family of Qatar, and another ten to UAE rulers — five of Dubai and five of Abu Dhabi. We’re huge art fans at Kipp, and when we hear there’s a public art display in the UAE, we’re always glad to report on it…even if it’s called ‘Tolerance’. Created by French artist Guy Ferrer, is a ‘gift’ to the people of Abu Dhabi.
